AT Resource: Multisensory Educational Software


Multisensory educational software and tools are used to engage students in learning while using some or all of their senses. Multisensory educational software benefits students with learning disabilities who have learning differences and students with ADHD. Some multisensory teaching methods include body movements, manipulatives for math, graphic organizers, and creating models. In my classroom, I would use a program similar to Touchmath. This program will engage my students in learning the math standards needed for PSSAs by using manipulatives and touch to learn the material. Another multisensory software is earobics for literacy.
